Welcome to the website of Avril (me) and JC.  I am 50 years old, Barnsley born and Barnsley bred, strong in t'arm and thick in t'head.

JC (Jean-Claude) is close behind at age 49, and was born in Brussels Belgium.

Between us we have four grown-up kids (more grown up than either of us, in fact!!) Guillaume and Tommy are JC's two sons, and Emma and Laura are my two daughters, and I also have a beautiful grandson, Billy, born in September 2004 and he is the love of my life.

 

 

Since JC and I are two thirds of a rock/blues/60's band, we love music and appreciate good bands, so this page is dedicated to all those great musicians who have impressed us and given us some great nights of entertainment.

RAW GALLAGHER.
 
Rory Gallagher's great music will never be forgotten whilever this band are around!!  An exceptional three piece band who we will certainly be following whenever we can.  If you close your eyes you can imagine you are really listening to Rory himself.
 
Steve White IS Rory Gallagher, and Steve Norton plays a mean bass!!  The line up is completed by Phil Vincent on drums and these three guys are a dream team.
 
Looking forward to seeing these guys again very soon, having first seen them on January 28th 2005 in our own village.
 
Sadly the audience was not that appreciative of this great band, and I doubt many of them would have given Rory himself any more attention, but these three guys are well worth seeing, and we had a blast!!!

GREEN MAC
 
Excellent Peter Green Fleetwood Mac tribute band. We saw these guys at the Polish Club Barnsley January 29th 2005 and they rocked!!  You could hear a pin drop in the sudience during ALBATROSS, the Fleetwood Mac classic instrumental, which they played to perfection.
Four very talented musicians who proved what I always say 'You're never too old to rock and roll if you're too young to die'
