Friday April 22nd 2005, JC and I had a day in York, where we met up with two internet friends for the first time ever,
though hopfully won't be the last!!
The gorgeous blonde is Jan, an amazing and beautiful American lady living in Paris who was visiting York.
The big teddy bear guy is Pete, from Dorset. Thes guys are great fun, and no-one would have known that we were
strangers up until today. A day to remember, and hope to meet up again before too long.
The following pics are taken at a BBQ hosted by Sheila, a member of the Yorkshire Expats Forum, and
here are some of the members who were there. A nicer bunch of Yorkshire folx I have yet to meet.
After losiong one of our dear friends and YEP member, Bren, the YEP forum donated to Barnsley Hospice
in Bren's memory. Here are Brens husband Johm daughter Katie and Expats forum members handing over the cheque to hospice
staff.
